A busy July

Well July has come and gone...I don't even think I had time to blink, it went by so fast. It was a very fun month filled with lots of fun adventures and activities. July is my favorite month, second only to December, and probably now October. I love everything about July. The heat. The fireworks. The way it brings families together. Barbeques. Swimming. Family trips. Red White and Blue. The parades. It is just a whole month full of FUN, and we definitely made the most of our July. Here are just a few of our many wonderful adventures we enjoyed :)

Here is my sweet Bradley trying to do a two person cartwheel. No, that is not me, that is his friend Eric...a man.
They ALMOST had it :)

These are our dear friends Christine and Adam. We love hanging out with them! This double date included an introduction to geocaching from the experts Adam and Christine, dinner at bucca with little to no power. It made for an interesting meal to say the least :) a game of clue, and watching Bounty Hunter. It was a fun night and we can't wait to do it again!

We visited our special spot at the Draper Temple and did some baptisms. This temple is special to us because it's where my cute Bradley proposed :)

We also got to go to the Days of '47 Rodeo with some of my family. I love the rodeo with all my heart! I really love anything that lets me wear my boots and sing country music at the top of my lungs, and that's just what the rodeo is :) Even Brad, the boy who says he isn't country, loved the rodeo. He had the whole cowboy attire. He wore his boots, a country lookin shirt, he even made a belt buckle for this occasion. I think it's safe to say that he is officially COUNTRY!! (but don't tell him that)

Thanks Mom and Dad. We LOVED the Rodeo!

I slept downtown with some friends for the 24th of July Parade and Brad stopped by and visited me :)

TIM McGRAW!!

Brad saw some of his friends from high school there. It was an eventful reunion :)

I LOVED the concert! Tim doesn't disappoint! Thanks hon!

Here is Bradley, the nicest boy you'll ever meet. Brad has a special hidden talent. He is quite the expert on breaking into houses! No one would ever guess that by looking at him. But here he is breaking into our apartment with a credit card! I really really really wanted to look at our new house, I'd been waiting forever for the previous renter to move out so we could look around. She moved out but did it over the weekend and she wasn't going to be dropping off the keys until Monday. I decided it was impossible for me to wait that long and so Bradley broke us in so I could look at our house. I LOVE our house! It is going to be so perfect! Pictures will be up just as soon as we're finished moving in and decorating! :) Oh and you may be wondering where Bradley learned this special talent...on his MISSION! I didn't know breaking into houses was essential to spreading the word of God :)

Here are some of the crafts I've been working on for our new house! :) It's been so much fun!

This little beauty is the dress that my 3 cute neices are going to wear at the wedding. The bow on it will be purple though :) My mom and I took my sister-in-law and her two darling girls Madeline who is 6 and Isabelle who is 4, to the store and they tried this on. They looked so cute dancing around the store looking in the mirror and talking about how they are going to look just like me! It melted my heart!

WEDDING UPDATE:
Well the wedding is in 61 days! It is coming up FAST! I woke up the other day and it hit me that in 2 months I will be a married woman! So crazy! Plans are coming along pretty well I think. We picked out invitations and viewed them online! They look so cute! We picked our cake. The flowers are all picked out. I'm working on the bridesmaids necklaces and my mom is working on the bridesmaids skirts. We are FINALLY done registering YAY! We have a wedding shower in September with 2 more being planned. I have my first dress fitting on Monday the 9th. Bridals will probably be within the next 3 weeks. It's been busy and some days are more stressful than others but so far its been great! I appreciate everyone who is so willing to help with plans and run errands with me. I am especially grateful for my mom, I honestly couldn't do this without her, and I definitely wouldn't want to. Thanks mom, you're the best! xoxo

Tim McGraw

Brad is pretty much the greatest guy ever! He surprised me with probably the best gift I've gotten  in my whole 21 years on earth...tickets to my favorite country singer, TIM MCGRAW!!! I jumped up and down and screamed when I got this wonderful surprise! This gift is a pretty big deal for  sweet Brad because while I am absolutely in love with country, Bradley is not so fond of it, to say the least. He likes some country songs, but he definitely doesn't love it enough to sit through 3 whole hours of glorious country music...until he met me! :) The concert is July 30th at Usana, and it's going to be amazing! He is coming with Lady Antebellum, another country band that I love! I am so excited to go and wear my adorable cowgirl boots and sit under the sun and listen to Tim all night long with cute Bradley! I love country so much that I keep telling Brad that he should apply to business school somewhere country-esque like Tennessee or Oklahoma...he doesn't seem to like that idea that much, so country music at Usana will have to do for now :) I decided that since the concert is so soon I need to start listening to Tim to get ready for the big day, and I thought everyone else would like to listen to Tim as well. Enjoy :)

The one and only Bear Lake

YAY for the 4th of July, my favorite holiday! As always my family and I headed up to Bear Lake to spend the weekend with my grandparents at their cabin. This year Bradley was lucky enough to come along. :) We had a great weekend full of boating, horseshoes, card games, being entertained by my cute nieces and little nephew, talking with the grandparents and my all time favorite FIREWORKS! It was an awesome weekend and I'm glad I got to spend it with the people I love most. Almost everyone was able to be there, and those who weren't were dearly missed. Here are some of the pics from our wonderful Red White and Blue weekend.

Bradley started off the weekend with a nap...

I started off the weekend like this...

My 4 year old neice Isabelle. She was so funny on this trip :)

The ever so famous and very much loved BRAIN towel. (Bradley's favorite)

NURSING SCHOOL, HERE I COME!!

Today is definitely up there on my list of best days ever! I woke up this morning and I was feeling pretty great, the sun was shining, I got to sleep in, and I could hear birds chirping outside, I knew today was going to be a good day! I got up and checked my email to see if there was anything from nursing school, just like I've done all day everyday for the past 2 months. Seriously, I had become obsessed with checking my email...it was actually kind of pathetic. Just like every other day there wasn't anything good, so I went about my morning. Not even 20 minutes later did I get a call from the hospital telling me I got accepted to the program!! I was SO excited! I actually screamed on the phone when she told me congratulations! It was the best phone call I think I have ever received! I have never in my whole life been so excited to start school!
This program is what one might want to call "AWESOME" It's through Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah hospital. You have to be an employee at the hospital to apply. They only take 30 students every year so it's pretty competitive. But all the hard work is definitely worth it because...its FREE! I have to sign a contract with the hospital and commit to working there full time for 3 years after I graduate and in return, they pay for all my schooling! I could not be more excited! I'm glad the stress of waiting is finally over, and I'm VERY glad that all that waiting ended with a Congratulations instead of the alternative. 2010 is turning out to be the BEST year ever! Getting engaged, finishing my first triathalon, all the fun trips, getting into nursing school, a new nephew coming in August, the wedding in October...I honestly don't think there is anything that could make this year better! Bradley and I have been very blessed and we are very grateful for everything that we have :) We are especially grateful at this time for FREE school! Only 2 more months until it starts! I can't wait to get those blue nursing school scrubs with the patch labeled "Salt Lake Community Nursing Program"

*HAPPY BIRTHDAY B-RAD*

As you can tell this is a Special Birthday Post for my cute Bradley fish. He will be the big 22 on June 13 but we'll be in Lake Mead that day so I had to do this a little early. Brad is the absolute BEST fiance anyone could ever ask for. I haven't had anyone else to compare that to, but I'm pretty confident that he is the best! Here are some of the many reasons why I love this boy so much!

1: He ALWAYS makes me laugh, no matter what.
2: He never puts himself before anyone else
3: He is very smart
4: He is a hard worker
5: He loves to play with my nieces and nephews
6: He has so much respect for me and other women
7: He always opens my door (he's only missed once in the 7 months we've been dating)
8: He loves the gospel and knows waaay more about it than I do, and he teaches me
9: He never makes me drive because he knows I hate it
10: He surprises me at work with flowers
11: He loves my family and considers them his own
12: He likes the food I don't so he finishes my meals for me
13: He lets me listen to country in the car
14: He gives me his coat when I'm cold
15: He's worthy to take me to the temple
16: He loves to cuddle, and he's the best cuddle buddy ever
17: He's giving me my dream wedding
18: He knows exactly when to be silly and when to be serious
19: He's spontaneous and outgoing
20: He is brave and would do anything for me
and last but not least, he lets me call him cheesy nicknames including, Braddy, Brad Bear, Tuna, Tuna cakes, punkie, poopsie, cookie, cupcake, honey bear, muffin, fortuna fish...and he responds to all of them! :)

These are just a few of the reasons why I love you Bradley Scott. You are so amazing and you make me So happy! I'm so lucky I found you. Thanks for everything you do for me and everything you do for everyone else! I hope you have the best birthday ever! You're one of a kind babe, and I'm glad that you are all mine!
